I decided only on 2 colors…..Mackerel and Sardine. I figured they would most closely resemble the tiny shad below Nickajack.

You might find this interesting. If you look at the pic I posted from Major Craft you can see the dressing on the hook. There is some tinsel and there is what I thought was a tiny bit of a plastic skin also. Well I was right…….it is skin. But it is not plastic, it is actually dried mackerel skin.

The Japanese attention to the small details is beyond amazing! Thanks for the info, Randy.

A 1.5 gram spoon is 0.05295 oz or 1/19 oz. These spoons weigh less than a 1/16 oz jig. That is something. What is their material of construction?

They are lead. They also come in 1 gram and 0.6 gram. These are designed to catch horse mackerel and also bean mackerel…..which are pretty small fish. Can’t imagine what one of these is like at 0.6 grams.

I agree. A 0.6 gram spoon is a 1/47 oz spoon . I have caught a lot of fish on 1/48 oz lures.
Thanks

I got them on Plat. They are same price at Kiwi. Digitaka does not have them and eBay price is a lot more than Plat.
