73 degrees , cloudy . Probably the last dry, warm day for awhile .
Weatherman predicts rain next four days with cold weather following.
So , I had to give the town pond one more try .
The bite wasn’t as good as the previous visits . The fish were there , because when a family threw some duck food out by the walker’s bridge , the fish we’re eating it up .
Maybe they were full .
Fished an hour and half and caught two . But one was a nice one . Just under 9 3/4” .
Rod today was a 6’ St Croix Panfish paired with a Shimano Symetre 500 reel , spooled with 4# Original P-line .
A black woolybooger micro jig was the only thing I could get a bite on .
The other gill was a 8 1/4” .
This pond is going to spoil me .
