The town pond is a short two miles from my house . Great place to get in an hours fishing to satisfy that fishing urge when I can’t get away on a fishing adventure.
I’m lucky , I have the town pond , a county water reservoir that’s only ten minutes away, and another county water reservoir that’s less than twenty minutes away . The water reservoirs just about require taking the boat out due to limited bank access.
The rain started this morning, bringing in colder than normal temperatures that’ll shut down the bite for a few days once the rain clears out late this weekend .
There’s supposed to be a break in the showers this afternoon, if so I’m going try to get in a hours fishing .
Thanks guys for all of the comments and support in my quest of a 10” or more gill .
I’ve caught a few 10”+ before but because I’m a catch and release fisherman, I’ve never carried a ruler with me to document my catches .
Here’s one I’m sure was over 10” .
