The Temperature today is going to make it up to my cutoff temp of 50 degrees today , but the wind is going to keep me home . Actually, if it’s not windy I can handle it down to about 45-46 .
Wind , right now is 14mph with gust over 20 .
When my hands get cold , I lose feeling in them and I have a tough time tying on my hooks .
A few more degrees (about 5) and I’d go and float my jigs . But today , I wanted to fish the dropshot and with that kind of wind I lose the feel of what’s going on with my baits .
I know a lot of you guys would think 50 was a heat wave , but it’s what you get used to and what your arthritis can handle once you get a few years on you .
The wind is supposed to die down tonight, and tomorrow, so I can hopefully can get out then .
