This water was right on a cold stream, which was really full, and so water was going in and out quite rapidly cooling it down. I caught one of the two perch (the bigger one), right at the exit of the stream, which was especially cold. It was kind of gravely, not very deep, and there wasn't much structure at all, save a few lily pads.
