Was wondering if anyone had a Shakespeare Micro Series rod that is 7ft and is an ULTRA LIGHT…….I have this exact rod but it’s a LIGHT. I found it to be too stiff for throwing 1/32 jigs at distance….so I wanted to buy the ultra light one. My "Light" 6.5 Shakespeare Micro Series rod, cast an 1/64 oz. Trout Magnet about the same distance as my 7 " Ultra light" Shakespeare Micro Series rod. I bought it thinking I was going to get a lot more distance...I didn't .
