Here is a pic from one of my previous posts. Panfish poppers with spinning gear is easy. Nothing special but it works. Strike indicators are 1" and very hard foam which gives them weight for distance. Float is 2" and good for longer distance. I attach either indicator or float 3-4 ft. above popper and a Raven micro swivel above all to eliminate line twist. Fly gear is best, but if I need to adapt to spinning gear this is what I do. Right now, that second lake has so much vegetation out from the shoreline, I wouldn't even consider using a fly rod especially since I am in the learning stage with that. Gills are sometimes pretty forgiving when you need to improvise gear.Name:  DSC00238.jpg
