Thread: Presentation similar to that used for bass in the pads

this type of pad bed is the kind of place I like to fish for Brim, shell crackers and specks/crappie. I do lose a few hooks at times. Every time I try to work a jig I seem to get hung up and broke off.. I use 6lb Yozuri hybrid and 6lb camo line from Mr Crappie 95% of the time and 8lb flurocarbon the other times. I typically use a 10ft "cane pole" most of the time in the pads. If water is 7 ft I use 8ft of fishing line, no weight or cork. I definitely want to try a weedless jig head. I saw a video where a guy (maybe Richard Gene?) Modified some his way, they looked good to me.
