Full moon in late April, went in search for bedding Gills even though I knew our water temperatures were still low-62-65. Gills like it a bit warmer to actually bed here, but they still have to eat right. Bait of choice today was the Berkeley Gulp 1in Minnow on a 1g jig head. Tiny minnows and fry were skipping everywhere up shallow, so match the hatch I did and it paid off nicely.

These guys were definitely searching out some bedding areas, found them in front of a gravel driveway that will be underwater soon. Caught 12, released all but 5 as the wife requested Fish Tacos.
