Thread: Moving water winter bluegill

Sure does look like a perfect spot.

It gets a lot of pressure from the worm and bobber fishermen. But I’ve always done pretty good with my flies and jigs . . Have to fish for. them like trout .

Checked out the creek this morning.
Not good . Too much water flowing . I should have thought about them releasing water upstream fro the two reservoirs above the old mill pond with rain due in here on Wednesday.
Left and went to the town pond .
By the time I got there around noon , the clouds had hidden the sun I woke up to .
No sun and the water doesn’t warm up .
In two hours I had two light nibbles on a tiny 1/80th white marabou jig .
Don’t always catch em , especially in the winter .
