Last time (about two weeks ago) it was about $17 for 15 items with DHL. The very fist time I ordered from them in February it was $14 for 5 items with EMS. In both cases, it was lines, lures, and terminal tackle.

Disagree. DHL is terrible. Always late. Can't track packages. Says tracking number can't be found. I a seller doesn't use Fed Ex, I don't order. USPS isn't much better. They are regularly 2-3 days beyond their delivery dates.

I've been using DHL since 1980....never had any issues with them at all. Haven't had any bad luck with UPS....and very rarely have an issue with USPS. I have had packages delivered from Japan in as little as 3 days with USPS.....so I really have no complaints with any of them except if I have to file an insurance claim with USPS....which is rare.......depending on what day....week, or month it is, that can be an issue for me....LOL.

    Regards

Well, I have to eat my own words. Don't taste worth a dang, either. Had a package leave Chicago on 7/16 via Fed Ex. Tried tracking it and they tell me to expect delivery on 7/26. So much for fast, reliable service.

Don’t you just hate that? LOL In these times I guess we can expect some problems time to time, but overall FedEx and UPS are pretty darn reliable.

Yeah, they don't go down very well. Next time I decide to spout off I'll keep my salt shaker handy to season them when they come back to bite me.

Back on original topic, I ordered some lure parts on Sun. 7/12. Went from PA to DE on Mon. 7/13. As of today package is still at USPS in DE. Sitting in the post office in Delaware for 6 days! If the USPS wants to stay in business they need to stay on the ball. UPS and FedX are more reliable for package deliveries lately. I ordered a small item from CA on ebay and it took 28 days to get delivered. Not sure what the issue there was as there was no tracking number given. Almost a month to deliver an item small enough to fit in an envelope!

Wanted to give a quick shout-out to USPS here: package delivered to Japan in less than one week. Hit and miss, I guess...

USPS has many variables they work within. Not making excuses, just witnessed the system firsthand pulling mail for 5 years. UPS and FEDEX are the two largest trucking companies in the world. One job I had was working for #3 with just under 4000 drivers. Their cross dock systems work excellent but the human factor is always an issue. Can’t have something delivered when totes full of packages are pushed aside and sit for days, or even weeks before they’re discovered and forwarded on. USPS, good or bad, will be my go to. Went to order drag washers a while back, fedex was the carrier, $8 for the part, $16 shipping. Cancelled the order, I’ll get em one day.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
