    Thanks for the comments guys. Let me clarify here. Usually by the end of June I am catching dozens of slab crappie and KY spotted bass at that location. June has been slow below that dam since I have been fishing it. July and August are off the charts good and I was hoping they might show up a little early. But most assuredly it has started. The next few months should be great...if past years history repeats itself.

    A very good day indeed. Love the LMB on ultra light tackle, and those crappie were a good dinner size too.

    Great day Randy! I’m glad you are still on fish pretty good. My creeks are gettin pretty low and it has slowed down on a lake I fish. For some reason around here, once the creeks get low and water temps in lakes are around 85, it gets tough to catch fish. We are supposed to get some rain this week. I hope it gets them going again!
