Thread: Practice Trip

I took my son Jacob out to try his Christmas present in a local lake. I wanted him to get the hang of things before we hit up some local creeks after they recede a bit. After I was comfortable with his abilities to maneuver and control his boat, I may a few casts with the Banshee. I only made about a dozen casts but I caught one of the biggest Longear Sunfish that I have ever caught. They don’t get very big around here so this one is about as big as they come. After the creeks come down a bit, Jacob and I plan on doing some serious floating and fishing. Can’t wait!
