This fish came off of a bed with at least 15++ shellcrackers just like this fish. He weighs 1lb 12oz, a true monster in my book.

We burned through two tubs of redworms without a bite. I accidentally bought a tub of nightcrawlers which I've never been keen on. I decided to split them in half and within five minutes, I landed this stud. About 15 minutes later, I connected on another big cracker but simply couldn't land him. My 11 year old was past ready to go...these fish test your patience and he was frazzled.

Long story short, we ended up keeping a hand size bluegill, a hand size redear, and this behemoth. I'm going to take nightcrawlers out there in the morning if it's not storming too bad. Oh yeah, the fight on the Japanese Tenryu Rayz Alter was unreal!!
