Had a ball fishing....finally got on some good numbers of bluegill and a few shell cracker. The biggest reason I fish these days is for the fun.....and using an Palms XUL rod certainly gives me a ton of fun. The water is not yet right for big numbers to be in there...I'm talking when you catch over 100 in a day. Between the crazy up and down on water levels.....the wind.....the closing of a lot of boat ramps....I have come to the realization I may miss out on the spawn. Of course all of us are in the same boat. Here is wishing us all better days.
