save yourself some money and buy them by the case..most bait shops will sell you a case for 20 bucks and change..you get 10 tubes to the box..me and my wife will easily use 10 tubes per weekend..as i'm sure most will..it take much to hold them...i made this box in about 30min..used my old one for pvc mold last winter  a plastic tub..drill and small bit..hot glue gun...a few jip ties...a rectangluar plastic bowl..and a box cutter..all of it is layin around the house..cut the bottom out of the small bowl..cut the top out of the big tub so the little bowl sits snugly down in it..hot glue it in..use the cut out from the tub to make a top with screen in it..
workes great..and you got all you need for the weekend..
lay a paper towel tube in the bottom and you can just pour them in your holder..soak a few cut up taters in water for a bit and throw them in...they will live for a while..thought it may save someone a few bucks..try it...

Very informative. It's funny, I was just reading up on how to do this last night and thinking "this is gonna cost too much & looks difficult". But you made it seem easy and very cost efficient. THANKS!
Got any plans for a worm garden?!?!:D
