Well keep in mind JDM does not necessarily mean “Made in Japan”....it just means equipment that is sold in the Japanese market. The price of rods can run from 50 bucks to over 1000 dollars. But for this rod to sell in Japan it has to be of a certain quality even if it is not considered high end. If it is not a certain quality the Japanese will not buy it.....that is my understanding. I think you will enjoy the rod.
