Catch a lot on curly tails here, really like Kalin and Southern Pros..colors vary by the day, sunlight etc.
Also catch many on CB sliders in the fall.
Fle-FLY perfect pearl color . Southern pro in the double trouble color and Mr. twister in the teeny tail 2 inch neon oil .Alond with these 1 inch sliders(not a curly tail ) as well as 2 inch make up 90 % of what I use .
I like the Southern Pro 1 1/2 inch tail. 1/16 once head with a #6 hook.
I do well on the 2in Triple Ripple Tail, the Cabelas knock off in Black with Chartreuse tail has been a good bait for me.

Don't do well with curly tail grubs so I cut off the tail and add a spike tail:
White has done well in murky water thus far. For a good deal on curl tail grubs, Overstock.com ($.34/10 nice color; $2.89/36; Cabelas - Mr Twister ($5/50). I like Yum Ribbontail grub curl tail design over any other (Yum website $2.59/15).
But one use for curl tail grubs is on a Beetle Spin along with a Crappie Magnet split tail.
Haven't had much luck with Slider grubs (boot tail) either. The Cultiva shown is pretty much one except more expensive.
