    Is that braid you're using? Nice lure design BTW. Like it when I catch fish on totally unnatural colors (whatever natural means to a fish).

    Nice post! It does amaze me how hard them little ones can whack a jig!
    I usually give them a ride through the air on accident.

    I think the little ones hit it so hard because it's a large bait for them so they have to be more aggressive. My opinion though.

    Looks like a warmouth. I catch tiny ones like that when fishing cypress trees. Sometimes the are barely bigger than the jig. I think they are trying to eat my the crappie nibble off the jig.

    They do have an attitude, and a thump sometimes like a crappie.
