When bluegill...or shellcracker bed that deep they are big. In my opinion you have found a bed that will have some huge bluegill on it. While it could be shellcracker it is not likely....they very rarely will do that. Bluegill do it quite often...big bluegill that is. I have found beds like that on 2 lakes in TN....Dale Hollow and Fall Creek Falls. Both have really big bluegill.
