Went fishing with my wife and father today at the lake. We caught quite a few dinks, and this small batch of batter and fry victims. We had a blast, and it was very therapeutic for me and dad, as we have had a rocky relationship up until recently. Also, what the heck is this thing my wife caught? It was about nine inches long, and was caught in about 18 inches of water on a small worm:

I have never seen those until I moved from Houston to Little Rock. I have asked many and have answers of Goggle eye, rice slick, and warmouth. I don't know if they are all the same or not. I never have kept any but I understand they are quite tasty.
