No the shell cracker were caught on the Major Craft Fine Tail Banshee UL rod. I didn’t have the XUL when I was on the shell cracker. JDM rods are pricey.....the XUL I was using is 165 bucks...or there about....delivered to your door.....but there are some cheaper rods around. See my latest thread.
