    The pond that he come out of is owned by an elderly lady,her husband recently passed and she loves to eat fish but cant clean them.So that one and a couple of his brothers were her meal for last night.

    Caught this one trolling for crappie in 12 feet of water. I took its picture because of its color. It was about 7 feet deep. Caught on a white grub. Water temp was 72. I turned it loose.

    Thats a great looking mess of fish.Do they really have that much reddish orange or is that a saturation of hues after pic was transfered? There gorgeous

    Hey Hot Rod, This is exactly how they look when you pull them out of the water. They look almost like they are bleeding. The bigger males have a lot more color than the younger fish. They are great fun and pull really well on light tackle in moving water.
