ive had better luck using red worms for brim than cut up nightcrawlers. if you can find a source for the smaller red worms, one on a hook is an offer even the most shy brim cant resist.

Man, I'm tellin you, we really tore it up this mornin. 40+ bream in 2-2.5 hours. Only one of the 4 friends fishes, so the rest of em had a blast as well. Bad news is I hooked myself pretty badly. I was takin one of my friend's bluegills off the hook, and didn't realize the hook was stickin out through his gill, and it just stuck in my hand. I ended up just havin ta rip it out.

Anyways, we had a blast, and thanks for all your suggestions.

I told one of em, "Take it off the hook!" He said "No!" I said "Why?" He said, "I don't wanna get killed!"

The fish he was talkin about was the smallest fish I'd ever seen caught on R&R.

He thought it looked like a mako shark, huh? LOL My niece and nephew are sheltered- their parents have shown them the life of the great indoors. I took those two out crawdad fishing and they acted like I was handling a T Rex or something...
