    What's the size difference between trout, crappie and panfish magnet? Is it just hook size?

    Trout Magnet...PanFish Magnet same body. PanFish jig hooks have longer shanks. Crappie Magnet is a much bigger version of the Trout Magnet.

    I just purchased the trout magnet pan fish kit. I had problems setting the hook. The hooks are longer but I was wondering if I should widen the gap? Pop

    I wouldn't. It could be fish just short striking it.
