Took the family to Tippah County Lake today hoping to work the bream over on the full moon. Early in the day the lake was dead calm and I thought we might end up joining the "Full Moon Blues" thread. Caught one decent one in three hours. A fellow angler offered his six as he gave up. The wind finally put a light chop on the lake around 2:00 and it was like the switch turned on. We caught 29 between us (wife, son, daughter) and quit at 4:00. After 2 hours of filleting I'm wishing we'd of quit sooner. We're set for fillets and probably won't keep any more for awhile. The 10" shellcrackers was another gift from
a fellow angler as both of us were leaving.
