We got a warm day today in the high 30s so I tried a small strip pond for some gills. This water is known for small gills but I was hoping a few had grown some. I caught over 50 but only one was fit for the knife ,so I slipped it back for another day . The wind came up pretty strong and I gave my shack to the son lest year ,so it got to be unfun after a while. lol
The best bite was on a black sparkle moon glow jig tipped with a wax worm. I took a picture to show the simple gear I use. The 20VMAX DeWalt sure works well paired with the 5" Lazer hand augerice was 6' to 8' thick. Water shallow from 5' to 9'.

One of my to do things is do some ice fishing. Hope I can pull it off someday.

Glad you could get out. I must be south of you a little bit we barely got 3 in of ice here and I wanted to icefish so bad this year. Thanks for sharing
