These rubber bands are used when drawing blood and I always ask for them when they are done. Sling shots came to mind, then using them for tying flies.
Been catching a lot of bream and decided to tie some spiders and they have produced. Decided to see what would happen with drawing a spider on the rubber
band and cutting it out and tying it on a small gill hook. It worked so well I thought I'd share the method of my madness. The chartruse thread on the hook helps
the super glue stick better and last longer The bands are thin, flexible and provide movement when jigged in the water around docks, willow trees and brush.
My zero turn keeps me from getting snake bit when navigating around pond dams. I just set the brake, stand up and cast and if the weeds are too high, I just
mow 'em down. Neighbors like for me to fish their ponds because I don't mind mowing around the ponds for easy access. Win win for all.
