Thread: Couple More Gills 9/25/14

Those are some beauties. Are you fishing in small ponds or reservoirs? I would not know where to look for them in big lakes this time of year. Also, are you using live bait, maybe crickets, or artificial ?? I would love to get into some like that with a fly rod.

I catch quite a few on my fly rod. Those however were caught using artificial bait. Gulp! minnows I think. Those came from a pond. Also they were caught in September.

Nice catch. Those are great lookin gills.
