Spring : ~10' (because that's the deepest I've seen Crappie spawn in KY/TN waters that I fish)
Summer : ~25' (because that's the deepest I've seen a thermocline set up)
Fall : ~15-20' (because that's the deepest I've seen Crappie go during the water temp transition)
Winter : ~30' (depends on the lake ... but, I have caught Crappie in much shallower water in the Winter)
