This white crappie weighed in at 3lb 1 0z, caught from Blue Mountain Lake in west central Arkansas. My biggest crappie so far, but still waiting for the next big slab. This was caught on a 1/16 oz jig and a black and chartruce 1 1/2 inch tube in 8 ft of water 4 feet down. I was rigged under a cork working it across a submerged brushpile. Can't help but wonder how much she would have weighed pre spawn, but still thankful she took the jig!! This pic was taken 8 years past. Like a dummy, I filleted and ate it!! She was fat and full of shad.
