    Default Where to buy maggots?

I have a small colony of mealworms and some red worm and European nightcrawlers in my organic garden. I'd like to add maggots, keep them in the fridge, but where do you buy them?

I bought from Vados first, but found them cheaper at Jada Bait. Now I use Jada.

I've been picking them up locally at PetCo or Petmart.

They're selling actual blue bottle fly larva? I've got to check out my local Petsmart. I've never seen a bait shop that sells maggots, much less a pet store.

Just checked my local Petsmart -- no maggots, only mealworms.

Luckily my local bait and tackle store has them. I buy a large quantity and store them in my garage refrigerator. They carry wax worms too.

Growing your own is much easier than you might think, plus you can have a fresh supply every few days for FREE. Thumbs Up
Sometimes the magic works, and sometimes...oh well, it was a nice day at the lake.
