Like team9 mentioned, the 1.5 curly tail grub is my favorite- I've taken to using a modified Carolina rig with mine. A bullet weight about a foot above the curly tail on a simple hook (no jighead). Slow retrieve and it sort of "bumps and jumps" off the bottom. They can't stand it.
