    Default Redbellies and Shellcrackers

Yesterday afternoon I took the canoe and hit a small local river with crickets. On an ultralight pitching under a cork, and using the Rebel "Crickhopper", I have over 30 in the ice chest. All but a few are hand sized. Fiahed about 3 hrs. When the sun came out they bit real good. it was a blast.

Can't wait to fry'em up today.

Sounds like you had some fun. Was youy throwing to the bank? If so, how'd you keep the little fellers off your hook?

Great catch. Sounds like some good eating heading your way. Can't wait to get into a few myself.

Caught most right next to the bank. Only a few little butterbeans oddly enough. Most bite were eaters and handsized. Usually them little ones eat up some crickets.

I was surprised that they were this active so early in the spring. But I ain't complaining. :D

It works for topwater plugging, it cranks, and it is great through snags on the river!

It's the best panfish lure ever!
