You are just a youngster, I'm 72 yrs old and still trying to learn how to catch brim and crappie. Up until about 10 yrs ago I thought the only fish in sweetwater was a bass but as I aged and got all those little pains it just got to be too much work to chase um so I got some long poles and changed over to crappie and having a blast. Still have a lot to learn and even more about brim. Got 15 crappie today, pink/wht the hot color, in about 5 hrs before my back told me it was time to go home. I jig fish with an attractent, don't use minnow tho I sure they would help me catch more.
