i did not see how, but now that you metion it... you could probably put it on a worm harness and fish it just like that..... the blade makes it spin when pulled through current.
the squirrel tail hair makes it fall much slower, i used the tail from a eastern grey squirrel. i would think that it would be good tipped with a berkley gulp minnow or real fathead.
it almost has no weight so it would be wise to put a bobber or float above it. just pull it in quickly and let it rest if the fish are tight lipped. the current generated by the float spins it.
