Hello Ship, alias Mike. This is Don from TOLEDOOOOO !!! We use a lot of tungsten jigs here for hard water fishing. Not only to see on flashers , but, the drop rate is unbelieveable compared to lead. It really helps , getting down to a good bite & to seek out larger fish. You can also use a much smaller jig & lighter line for those stubborn gills. Good luck to all. Thank you for reminding me of all the good fishing in my hometown. I fondly remember fishing the Maumee down where Dorr Street ended. I hear reports the new Riverfront area is first class. Do they still have the High Level bridge? There was good fishing around it too. Take care friend and good fishing to you.
