When I was a kid, we used to fish a few farm ponds at night, used a flashlight to watch our corks, and did pretty well. They were ponds that hardly got any pressure, and you could catch fish anytime from the waters. I have tried a few times on different lakes and never really got a good bite at night for bluegill or redear.

On the big lake I catch alot more during the day than I do at night. I've fished for them at night but have only caught a few.
