    Luckily, down here is southern California our panfish grow HUGE due to the mostly warm water temps and the many deep water reservoirs we have availible to fish. Our lakes were planted decades ago with the Florida strain blugills which is another reason the grow so large so fast.


    Lucky for us...Pounder plus bullgills are not that uncommon.

    Man I wish you would have posted some fish like that a few weeks ago. If you had, I have for sure looked you up while I was there. We spent 8 days in San Diego 3 weeks ago. I sure I could have found a day to go fishing.
