They were darker when i caught them. And i agree that a 5lber would drag you around in a boat.:D
Hi guys
Had to get in this Warmouth Thread ... The water level is just right and they have been tearing up my 1/4 oz spinner bait Bass does not have a chance to get it (well a few have) ... Attached Picture is 28 (1 "Chub") and have caught in the last 3 trips 75 or more .. have carried the Grand Kids a couple of times and they have had a ball with them ... a lure such as the "Road Runner" style would stay hung up in these waters but it a excellent Lure for them ... I have had some that weighted close to 1.5 #.
Just 2 cents worth
JSC
(Note on the Picture it says 38 but was only 28 (no need to stretch it) ... On the Odd Warmouth I thought at first I had a Shellcracker)

Yep ! JSC , That's the one's I have been catching while bass fishing , Been using 4 and 5 inch stick plastic with no weight , They knock the fire out of it.
5,6 and sometime 7 inches , Little but mean !!!
My son in law has been getting most of them (told me he did not have room for any more right now) ... They really enjoy them ...
Have a Niece and Nephew vacationing in the area and he and I went out this AM .. caught & released at least 40 of them .. I know they would be hitting Plastic Worms but that is a lot slower than with a spinner bait .. fact is the bass have not been hitting plastic to well ....
