Default Slow day on the Perquimans

Launched at Hertford again , I`m really enjoying this retirement thing ! boat ramp not crowded at all on a week day
A lot slower day today than we had Monday , a few keeper gills for supper and a very nice shellcracker........ the wife caught a bowfin on the light tackle rod exciting moment !
Found out last nite my son going to Iraq in September , guess he`ll get to come in for a short visit before deploying maybe get another fishin trip in :D

Nice catch! Thanks go to your son and your family for his service! I hope you get to visit with him before he deploys, it'd be great for you to be able to spend time fishing with him before he goes.
