After haveing not bluegill fished for years after tournament bass fishing got ahold of me I forgot how much fun it was. I got burnt out on tournament fishing several years ago. I bought a ultralite combo and put a kayak in a large creek a few miles from my house a few years ago. I took a few bettle spins that i got on clearance at big lots. 1/32 oz jig head with a #8 hook in it a 1" split tail bettle grub in green with black stripes and a #0 spinner. They just happen to be on the beds. I flippin slayed them suckers. I have been hooked on (tinny) beatle spins ever since.
