The smaller the better, and usually your best bet is on the surface just twitching it. But, yes, I've caught a decent amount of sunfish while bass fishing with one.

Don't know if it will catch sunfish....but a jointed Rapala is my first pick out of the box when its crankbait time. I have caught TONS of fish on the firetiger and crawfish patterns.

firetiger is one of my favorites. i also really like the perch and fireminnow colors depending on how clear the water is ..

i think the j05 is a 2 inch lure, something smaller would be favorable. i bet you'd get some nips when you're running through the nesting areas.. you could switch out to some 12-16 trebles to make sure they get the hooks in their tiny mouths

Yeah just watch out with the F03, them tiny trebles will bite ya!!!!!!!!! I got real lucky at the flea market this weekend. A guy had a double sided Plano box and I counted 36 Rapala minnows inside. He wanted $35 and I ended up getting it for $20.
