I went to Bass Pro in Pearl, MS & asked the guy working in the artificial bait area about the plastic crickets. He said he thought they were out but took me to look anyway. There were two packs left & I got both. Haven't had a chance to fish with them yet, but the point of my post is that they must be very popular around here.

Just as some advice, I breed crested geckos ( lizards ) in my spare time and sell them. Which prey off live small food such a crickets..

You can buy bulk crickets at any pet store for relatively cheap. Not sure if there are specific crickets you are targeting, but they are tan not black.

I get 1,000 of the large 3/4" crickets from the pet store for $10.00. Enough for an entire weekend and THEN the rest go into the sleeper (freezer) for quiet time. Once they quit scratching to get out, bag them up and put the bags into the produce drawer.

Anyone with an update on the gulp alive crickets?
It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.
