    can someone please give me a link to waggler floats and what size to use with 1/16 jig. and how big would you go in order to fish a minner/split shot.

    This is the basic waggler I use for bigger baits:

    Cabela's -- Thill™ TG Bodied Waggler Float

    The 7" size should probably handle that size bait. To be conservative, you could get the 8".

    Or, if you want to get a couple of each size, you can buy them here:

    Cabela's -- Thill™ Gold Medal Floats T.G. Waggler

    If you plan to fish it slip-style, I'd also get some of these float adapters:

    Thill Float Swivel Adapter

    The line runs through them much better. If you don't want to buy, they're easy to make. It's just a barrel swivel glued into a short piece of tubing. Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Lindy all sell the tubing.
