There are a lot of Cherrywood fans on this site. Shimano makes good stuff, too. I'm sure both will be fine for bluegill.
Thanks guys appreciate it cant wait for spring and spawning time.
Have any of you had experience with float tubes i was hoping to try and get one for the lake this year?
I always use my 5'6" ultralight Cherrywood for gills.Very sensative,I love it.Just be carefull of throwing stuff on the tip.
"Garden Hackler"lol
I tube quite a bit. For lakes/ponds, I'd get a U or a V-shaped boat. They're much easier to get in and out of than the round ones.
There are lots of good ones on the market. Just pick one that suits your budget.
Illinoisgiller is also a tube fan, so I'm sure he'll chime in soon.
I think Giller was born in a tube, Lol.:D
