    Id say that would go clode to 2# easy! Beautiful gill. Where was it caught? Might have to take a road trip!

    Nice fish. Since he killed it, I hope he's getting that trophy mounted. A once in a lifetime fish. For comparison, this Bluegill was 13 inches and 3 lbs. About 3 inches thick.

    Definitely a great fish...my personal best gill was caught while flyfishing for bass with a 3" streamer I tied myself...it weighed in at 2lb,15oz. - sorry, no picture I was young and out of work and naive - I ate the fish.
    Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
