    I sometimes vertical jig them for crappie.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    I use them all through the year, but mostly for white bass and largemouth. Catch crappie, walleye, drum, and flatheads on them as well.

    I started fishing them for suspended crappie, but do much better with other baits. Hopkins spoons, and some of the northlands do better for crappie in my opinion.

    I've caught lots of Sandbass using the 3/4 oz with bucktail.
