    since i have never really used a 4 wt i was looking to spend $75 - $125 for a rod any suggestions

    In that price range, I'd get a Lefty Kreh Signature Series from Temple Forks (TFO.) They have both an 8' and 8'6" 4wt in that series. They sell for about $110 and come with a lifetime warranty -- highly recommended.
