Long read, lol.Seems that you have a lot of catching up to do.I don'r ride anymore,I lost a leg and walk around on a prostetic one now,Well,2,lol.The mules got hard to get on running around in circles with one fake leg stuck in a stirup, lol. But I did many a times.Papago Park Stables,no more.Up in Prescott cowboys are out numbered 20 - 1.Whiskey Row is still going strong during 4th of July, but looks like a frat party. All the guys that I rode with are in thier 70's now,I was the youngest,I am now 48.I four wheel to get there now, lol.Times have definantly changed.I used to walk around here with a .44 on my side when I went to the Rim for the weekends, now, the young guys think that you are showing off and want to fight,lol.Unbelieveable.I could'nt find anything on the brothers.I still go up to the Rim,take the prop off my 40 hp Mercury and spend sometimes a week at one of the lakes up there in the summer.Being in a boat on the lake is some of the quieter times that you can get around here any more, lol. If you want to find anything else out just PM me,I'll help you out if I can.

Boy that sure takes me back, my folks and I moved to Az back in the late 80s to williams, I love that country. Met my wife there , her family still lives there in the buckeye, Goodyear area and up in Cottonwood. But your right Az sure has changed since then and not for the better, I know what ya mean bout packin a hawgleg to the mountains for protection from the critters, nowadays its protection from the doped up jerks

Remember when go to the mountains to camp consisted of a tent ,sleepin bag and cooler of food and favorite beverage??? last time we camped out by Ashurst lake there were travel trailers and R.V.`s everywhere with generators running and satelite dishes and atv`s rolling everywhere

but the solution to that,,,just go further back into the hills:D

Alright thats it!! now gotta talk to the wife and plan a trip for next year!!

Thanks for that stoll down good memory lane that was sweet
